Brief History of CENTURY 21 Heave-Ho Properties
CENTURY 21 Heave-Ho Properties' Brief History
Heave-Ho Properties was founded in 1990 by entrepreneur, Deborah Cumming, who, whilst working in Ocho Rios, on Jamaica’s North Coast, saw the need for a professional real estate company to service clients who wanted to buy, sell or rent quality properties in Jamaica.
In 1990 Deborah moved to Jamaica’s capital, Kingston and began focusing on the domestic market. Since then, the Company has grown and succeeded on its strengths of providing high-quality customer service, and the ability to consistently deliver results for its clients. This proven track record has earned the Company frequent referrals and has built a solid base of local and international clientele.
In March 1998, Heave-Ho Properties became part of the CENTURY 21 system. As CENTURY 21 Heave-Ho Properties (an independently owned and operated company), it benefits from the association with the largest real estate organization in the world. CENTURY 21 Heave-Ho Properties, with its established reputation for excellence, is well-respected in the local market for providing its agents with superior training, providing up-to-date technology in the industry and extensive advertising programs.
Deborah Cumming, as the Broker, has won CENTURY 21's prestigious individual Centurion Award on four occasions (in 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2005), and the Double Centurion in 2014; and in 2007 and 2014 the Company and its Sales Associates celebrated winning the Centurion Company award, ranking first among 13 Caribbean countries.
Deborah Cumming remains passionate about standards in the real estate industry and continues to be involved in policymaking and monitoring bodies in the sector, as a Council member of the Realtors' Association of Jamaica for over 10 years.
The CENTURY 21 Heave-Ho Properties sales team of over 50 professionals is intent on moving the real estate sector in Jamaica to unprecedented levels by offering a comprehensive range of real-estate services coupled with an unparalleled level of customer service.
